Shared Use Bays
Shared Use Bays
In some locations, mainly within the city centre, some parking bays have been designated for two different users at certain times. These users include disabled badge holders, taxis, goods vehicles, motorcycles, permit holders and pay and display ticket holders.
The bays will have 2 separate signs on the same signpost and each individual sign will advise which type of motorist is allowed to park in the bay at a specified time.
There will be no wording on the road surface due to the change in the restrictions and times.
Please see copies of the signs of the various dual bays within the city:

If a motorist parks in a dual use bay during the times when the restrictions on the sign post do not match their vehicle, a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) will be issued by a Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO).
