Come and see the archaeologists at work excavating the remains of an Iron Age enclosed settlement at Lower Callerton.
Tours of the excavation will be given.
Entrance to the site will be signposted . No parking will be available; the site is adjacent to a bus stop for Stagecoach bus routes 61 and 71; walking from Walbottle village is also recommended. Access to the sites is through undulating fields and the undulating fields and the uneven muddy ground may be unsuitable for some visitors; sturdy footwear is recommended.
